Background:
The "A Fistful of Rock & Roll" compilation series  was started in 1999 by Sal Canzonieri, at the behest of the music press and fans.
The series originally started out on the Tee Pee Records label, Volumes One to Six.
Volumes Seven and Eight have been released by Victory Records.
Volumes Nine to Thirteen have been released on the Devil Doll Records label.

Recorded output:
The "A Fistful of Rock & Roll series has 13 albums released so far on various labels.

Important points:
1. Very favorful reviews from the music press worldwide in most indie rock fanzines and major music magazines such as Kerrang, Metal Hammer, and Rocksound.
2. A 160 Page book about the series and High Energy Punk Rock & Roll history, album cover and poster art, will be published by Dark Horse Books, sometime in 2004,  featuring such artists as Alan Forbes,  Johnny Ace, Dirty Donny, Spine, Tony O' Farrell, Drazen, Merinuk, and more.
3. Songs featured on radion stations all over the world.
4. High ranking station on MP3.com site, averaging 6,000 - 10,000 or more downloads a month, and often ranked Number One simultaneously on three genre charts:  Pop/Rock, Stoner Rock, and Punk Rock.
5. Guitarist, Sal Canzonieri, executive producer of critically acclaimed 13 volume compilation series “A Fistful of Rock N Roll”, author of many articles for various pulications, including Guitar, Seconds, Wushu Kung Fu, and others.
